Spicy Neapolitan Margherita or Soprassata Pizza Kit (Serves 2)
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Equipment Needs: Extra Large cast iron or Sheet tray
From your pantry: Salt
Included in Meal Kit:
- Pizza Dough
- 1 ball Narragansett Mozzarella
- 2 Tbsp City Saucery Vegan N'Duja
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Bunch Basil
- 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/2 Cup Flour for Dusting
HOW TO COOK:
Step 1: Preheat oven with cast iron or sheet try inside to 450 F
Step 2: Once at temperature pull pan/tray out of oven, work carefully, tray will be VERY HOT!
Step 3: Shape pizza dough on a clean surface. To begin, dust surface with flour and place the dough ball in the center of the flour and coat ball generously. Shape the dough by gently pressing until flat then stretching evenly until it is the size and shape of the tray or pan that you’ll be cooking on (about 1/8” thickness).
Step 4: Carefully lay dough on tray/cast iron pan.
Step 5: Top with torn mozzarella each piece should be no more than 2” in length and 1/4” thickness, then spoon on the pizza sauce.
Step 6: Dollop small spoonfuls of n'duja across the top.
Step 7: Sprinkle with olive oil.
Step 8: Top with parm and place in oven.
Step 9: Bake for 15 min or until the cheese is golden and bubbly and the crust is fully cooked.
Step 10: Once out of the oven, top with basil and serve.
If cooking with children use a sheet tray and do not preheat it in the oven. They can work without concern of burning.
